About
The Commanderie de Bordeaux à Dallas was established in 1979 by the Founding Maître Marvin C. Overton III and the Chapter has grown to its current membership of 44 Commandeurs & Mesdames (Members).
The Commanderie - DFW Chapter typically holds 6-8 parlements each year for any & all members who wish to attend. Each parlement is a unique event and is either held at one of the finest restaurants or clubs in DFW, and at times at a private home. The Chapter also holds casual "pop-up" dinners which are typically BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) and hosted by a Commanderie-DFW member or held at a casual venue. These events are designed for prospective members or to explore new restaurants and other cuisines to pair with Bordeaux and are more casual in nature. Spouses, significant others are welcome at all events excluding the Annual Member's Meeting which is exclusive to Commanderie de Bordeaux members.
Membership of the Commanderie - DFW Chapter is composed of a diverse group of men and women from all over the world between the ages of 30-75. If you are interested in learning more about our Chapter, please inquire here.
Commanderie - DFW falls under the auspices of Commanderie de Bordeaux aux États-Unis d'Amérique. However all local activities are directed and guided by Le Conseil, comprised of Commandeurs of the DFW Chapter.
